Here, I’ll start.
This is a 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner or a Hilux Surf outside of the Americas.
They could be had with cute little fender mirrors and awesome graphics but that’s not the best part.
They had this little option.
This little mirror slides back up into the rear trim when not being used for extra visibility when backing up.
View from inside. Quite practical really.
So. That’s the question. Show the OPPO the best option that you can’t get on your car.

Not quite what you’re asking, but Dodge equipped these to trucks the generation before, the generation after, and only to the SRT-10 trucks of my generation. WTF?!

This JDM 5th gen Prelude SiR S-Spec has several. A hotter engine (220 HP vs. 200), LSD transmission, rear wiper, shaped glass fog lights (as opposed to the USDM ones that were just circular), sunroof delete, factory nav, and dem seats.

I really wish the heated windshield was available on the North American market Fiesta ST. Fuck scraping windows, especially that huge expance.

With cars sold in different markets, was there an option available in one market but not your market.

I still can’t post pictures.
But the LHD Skoda Superb Mk3s have a power point in the rear of the centre console with a 23v power inverter for use by passengers in the rear seats. On the RHD cars there is just a standard 12v socket and a small tray.

The GTO (or Monaro) came with a bluetooth phone option in Australia, which is just a blank button in the US. I think it was required by law in Australia.
As for the Tahoe, is that even sold outside the US?

Euro E39s were actually more downmarket than US ones. They had like five or six engine options that we didn’t get including a range of 4 cylinder diesels. You could even get them with cloth interior, and there was something called a taxi package.

Trunk lid carpet was a Japan only option for my old Cavalier.
Other Japan only options were leather wrapped steering wheel and power folding mirrors.
But the trunk lid carpet was especially weird

That’s for the ‘04 I believe. The ‘05-’06 had the lock button there.

There’s two good ones, actually, on the same car.
The first is all wheel drive. Now, you might say, “four wheel drive? That’s not a weird option!” You’d be right, except I’m talking about a Prius . It’s a 13 horsepower rear electric motor, and the stability control system can torque vector with it, I believe. It’s really only for low speed at that power level, but it is apparently meaningful.
The second is Thermo-Tect Lime Green color.
Here, have both in the same car, in a Japanese video (with English captions, thankfully):

This picture shows the differences between the Toyota Harrier and the RX330 I drive pretty well. It has the little fender mirror, must be a JDM Toyota thing, and the panoramic sunroof.
You could actually get the RX with the panoramic roof in the US, but they are almost impossible to find, unfortunately. I really wish mine had it, but I guess I can live with a regular sunroof haha.

Nope only the 06. The 06 was the only one to have illuminated steering wheel controls too, and “faster” seats.

You know they are actually “faster” than my bosses ‘05. Plus they get the black and clear taillights which look sooooo much nicer.

Or ashtrays. I miss wing windows too.
I bet they still come standard on stuff sold in China and the developing world. No data to back that up, just a gut feeling.

I’d bet you’re 100% correct. Even in Japan, people still smoke like chimneys in Japan. The Toyota Century is probably LOADED with ash trays and cigarette lighters.

That’s the previous generation, and it doesn’t look like there’s a G’s model of the Gen 4.
However, you can get something similar (although not from the factory) from TRD: http://www.trdparts.jp/english/prius/index.html

The diesel Outback actually looks a little different. You could get them without roof racks and even get the hood scoop I want for mine.

This entire car. A practically option-less 420i Gran Coupe. No xDrive nonsense and a manual, and just enough power as my intra-city commuter. Just the bare minimum to get the red interior and black metallic paint.
